Ben is up on the roof with the modular aerials, and I'm targeting him with the handheld receiver to transmit our first podcast to you, our loyal Anglofritzer and cultural shareholder.
Item: German bridgebuilder Angela Merkel, filled with the serene calm and beauty of a Petit Prince, heads over to the States for a two-day tussle with Texas bad-boy president G.W. Bush. Are we friends now? Will Bush screw this up somehow? What does it all mean? Let's have some coffee and ham and cheese sandwiches with moderator Ben Knight, Christy Leonardo, and Gerd Stodiek as they discuss the implications of this transcontinental summit.

Didn't Bush get an iPod for Christmas last year, they could exchange their playlist at their next summit. The GDR national anthem is #1 in your playlist - good choice.
