Another one for "Stereotypes" I guess. Like the cannibal thing, every now and then some German does something and you just think, "Why? Why? My friends back in blighty won't believe me again when I tell them I know so many beautiful, charming, funny Germans." That old humourless-intellectualisation-of-butchery leitmotif never gets shaken off. Take Falk Richwien - he broke a couple rabbits' necks and hacked their heads off as part of an art performance. Now he's in trouble with the police. Fine. Could happen anywhere. But that he did it wearing a white suit, a pony-tail and a narrow goatee, along with an S+M assistant - it's just too German. Don't do this to yourselves, Germany. I promise you, it makes other western countries think of the minor villains in the Die Hard films. No-one wants that.

Hey, I'm only the messenger. This is how people think. There's a primitive honesty in all stereotypes.
