Bumdestag
The pictures of Angela Merkel's proclivities have been making the tabloids in England, and the German tabloids have been getting uptight about it. Now they're getting back at the British.
"The English are mocking our Chancellor." And it asked: "Where does this hatred come from?"
They can't take a joke, can they? It's not hatred. Mockery might look like hatred sometimes, but it's not, but the problem is that Germans just seem funny to the English. It's a very lazy part of what is called British humour, and obviously it shouldn`t be funny. But it is.

Mmmmm...how about a picture of these reputed proclivities of Ms. Chancellor Merkel? Was it a breeze that blew up her business skirt?
Further, what do the Germans think of Britain's House of Commons political debates? Are they as rambunctious in the Bundestag? I suspect not, but I have no proof.

Why, this IS funny, especially when you think about the numbers of Paparazzi lying there on the beach waiting for that one second where Merkel exposes her beautifully tight behind.
However, just think what would have happened if the equivalent of The Sun (Bild, for example) would have printed something alike with photos of Ms Thatcher's butt. I wonder if in that case you funny Brits would credit "the Germans" with humour. Maybe you would but that's all hypothetical.
Fact is that any type of German-bashing still sells big time in Britain, and when there's criticism on the other side, it sells even better ("we knew they have no humour"). This battle never ends.

Ms. Merkel handled her ass-slip grace and dignity. After all the sagging 50+ year old bums we've been exposed to over the years, Chancellor Merkel's bottom ranks right up there among the best.

Sure it's funny! Man, get a life! Can't anyone remember "Looking at the beach balls Di?, or Clinton's...ahem, when pics were presented in his Sexual Harrassment suit?.....
And, had somebody gotten Mrs. Thatcher's bottom, I am quite sure that the Brits would be the first ones to laugh....at least most of 'em....hee..hee
