Buy A German, Sell A German

Chelsea are keeping their balance of Germans steady by selling the good-looking defender Robert Huth. He is a 21 year old who is apparently mildly unhappy about the lack of first-team experience he has at Chelsea. His position is centre-half. At the moment he is in Germany, running around like a lost shoe, getting ready for the big one.

According to the various news reports that have been hovering beneath the picture of that young man's chiselled chin and neatly-oiled coiffe, he may have been bought by Wigan already. But instead of showing you a picture of young Robert, I have decided to include this action-packed artist's impression of a hunter face to deadly face with a bear, lifted straight from Bild Zeitung's coverage of the only interesting story this week. But you could decide to interpret the picture allegorically - the bear is Huth, the hunter is Wigan Athletic. Or maybe the gun is Chelsea FC, and Huth is the bear, and the hunter is Michael Ballack?

Can anyone think of any other good allegorical interpretations of this very dramatic picture? The winner of the best one gets any item of Christy's clothing you want. I'll sneak into his room and get it now if you want. He'll never know. He's drunk all the time anyway. Here is the actual picture of Huth. He shall be your muse.
