Some EU members got no computer skills
But not Germany. Though there's not a good showing for German blogs or message boards, our hosts just will not be outdone by Estonia. Of course, you have the kids with their Blackberries and Sidekicks, which is the next generation that I'm already being alienated by, so if you want to get hit my an SMS (that's a text message, for our American public), you're in the place to be.
As Ben has already illustrated, the EU is little more than an academic construct designed to defeat the India/China Axis of Population. When you take a good look at how little Italians want to e-mail each other -- come on, guys, text me at the disco? -- you realize that not everyone is on the same page. As for the olds, they've earned the right to not have what's left of their minds stolen by the sinternet.
Meanwhile, internet penetration is 73% for Americans, and we prove ourselves lemmings as always for new trends -- so long as the Web Nanny filters are up.
