Bush's Beer Buddies

See, the G8, it's all fun and games -- not like this heavy geo-political Sturm und Drang you've been hearing about in the media. No, it's more like the ol' frat house days at Yale. Who cares about petty things like missles and poverty and climate change when you've gotta get your drank on at the backyard of a Baltic villa?
United States President George Bush was spotted by The Daily Telegraph today [video] quaffing some afternoon brewskies with German chancellor Angela Merkel. Towleroad wonders if Mr. Bush has fallen off the wagon and if that doesn't have something to do with Bush's subsequent stomach sickness and quick nappy (later) from which he has -- breaking news! -- quickly returned, sharp as a whip (even later).
Commenter A.J. says, "The Germans can get anyone to drink beer."
Update, June 11, 15:35: Given the anglofritz commitment to journalistic integrity, it behooves us to mention that at closer inspection, it turns out that Bush managed to stay on the wagon after all; the beer in question was non-alcoholic and even non-German (it was Dutch). Better luck next time, us. [via]

No Pasaran speculates that Putin drank Sarkozy under the table.

Danke for the props, Joerg.
I should take this opportunity to update this post (done): Bush was actually drinking a non-alcholic beer and it WASN'T EVEN GERMAN! Unverschämt!

Yeah, Bush, it makes more sense that he has the lowest IQ in the history of US presidents.
