Comic relief à la Nazism doesn’t stop with Stephen Colbert. You have to give him much props, he does a marvolous journalistic job dissecting O’Reilly’s loopy hate of Daily Kos, comparing it with Nazis and KKK sites. O’Reilly also accused Daily Kos of being anti-Semitic; Jeffrey Feldman, who is Jewish, takes on the issue of what it means to be an expert on anti-Semitism. Most likely German commenter albrechtkrausse points out that Kos’s hand gesture on Colbert’s show (in clip above) would lock him up in Europa,

Lucky this wasn’t broadcasting in Germany, France, Austria or some other European countries. The Daily Kos founder would be indicted, and possibly fined and jailed, for giving that gesture.

Let’s recap. We have O’Reilly dissing DailyKos for being a Nazi site and anti-Semitic, albrechtkrausse misunderstanding a joke and some reinforcement for the “Good German” complex. Wow, there’s too much historical, cultural and political weight in this one.
